Claire is internationally recognised as one of the UK's leading florists. Her work frequently appears in leading competitive floristry books and the national press. She is often a part of major international events such as the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Not only has Claire won numerous awards and prizes for her work, she is co-author of several best selling books and magazines that other professional florists use for inspiration and product design. She is in high demand for the workshops and private tuition that she offers to floristry professionals. Quite literally, Claire sets the standard for many other professional florists.

Personal Notes

Claire lives in the beautiful heart of rural Suffolk. Whilst her business is based here, she travels across the UK and internationally to exhibit at shows, deliver sought-after tuition or provide design consultation at leading events.

As if by chance, Claire's natural creativity and flair for design was born when working in the family floristry shop. She developed her skills and experience in the shop and her own workshop whilst studying for formal floristry qualifications. As the business developed successfully, Claire was instrumental in setting up and running Thrive Floristry, a specialist supplier of books and sundries for other professionals. Claire's experience and reputation continued to flourish and she was soon invited to compete, exhibit and demonstrate at increasingly-prestigious shows. She also began to create her own books and magazines and is co-author of several bestsellers - see below.

Claire has a family and slightly crazy chocolate labrador. She is a wonderful cook and grows her own fully organic produce to cook with. She loves walking in the countryside and has a deep knowledge of our natural environment. She is quietly passionate about living ecologically and strongly believes in minimising our impact on the planet.

Claire is co-author of several best-selling books and magazines that are used throughout the industry by professional florists for inspiration and to share design ideas with clients. Many of Claire's pieces are used for product placement or international marketing campaigns or form the basis of standard wedding packages by well-known UK suppliers.
